Chief Financial Officer

Nyesha Veal, MS, is the Chief Financial Officer for NOLA Public Schools. A seasoned financial systems leader, she brings extensive expertise in accounting, budget administration, and internal controls. She manages a $700 million annual budget and leads a dedicated team, ensuring financial excellence across the district. Nyesha holds a Master’s in Information Systems, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant candidate. She is an active member of the National Society of Leadership & Success and the Government Finance Officers Association.
